Product Information:

1.    Ultra-Ever Dry was designed for industrial markets and applications only. We do not want our distributors selling to retail consumers. The product is hazardous when applying and we need to protect the consumer from harm.  You will need to agree that you will not sell to the retail market.

2.    The current formula is easy-to-apply, offers the least obtrusive color (it is a translucent whitish color, but it is not clear) and it is great for electronics, corrosion prevention and other applications. Due to the chemistry makeup of the technology, it is susceptible to abrasion and U/V exposure. However, it is more durable than other superhydrophobic coatings on the market.

3.    There is a two year shelf life for Ultra-Ever Dry.

4.    The products ship as hazardous materials and you need to be sure of the following:

a.    Do you need to register the chemicals as an importer for them to be brought in to your country?

b.    Are there exemptions that allow you to get started by selling up to a certain amount before you have to register?

c.    Since we want our international distributors to stock and ship locally, you will need to understand your county’s regulations or the UN regulations for shipping hazardous liquids.  Your shipping personnel may need to be certified.  In the US, it is a one-day on-line course to become certified to ship dangerous goods via ground shipments within the country.

d.    Are there any storage constraints in your country?

e.    Here are our harmonized codes for the EU – 3208901990 and USA - 3208900000.

5.    Another important piece of information is that UltraTech is not the owner of the    technology. A small innovation company has the rights and developed the product.  UltraTech has partnered with them to take the product, under a private label (Ultra-Ever Dry), to the industrial markets globally. They signed up a large paint company for the rights to sell a consumer-friendly formula (called Never Wet) to the consumer market worldwide. They can also sell into the industrial market and are starting to do so with that consumer formula and an industrial formula.  Ultra-Ever Dry is an industrial formula for industrial applications. It lasts more than 20 times longer outdoors and is much more durable and abrasion resistant than the Never Wet consumer formula.  Ultra-Ever Dry also has oleophobicity (repels some oils) while the Never Wet consumer formula cannot repel oils. The industrial version will be competitive with Ultra-Ever Dry, but to date, we have not experienced any competitive pressure internationally.

 

Distributor Country Information

1.    We will not be offering exclusives per country.  The size of the country will also determine how many distributors we set up. 

2.    You agree not to sell outside your country/territory unless authorized in writing from UltraTech.

 

Stocking Program Information:

1.    We need our international distributors to be of such a size that they can stock and ship the product in their country. Having inventory on hand provides a better experience for your customer because the lead times will be significantly shorter.

2.    You need to agree to buy a minimum order of approximately $ 19,000 USD.  This represents a full pallet of product in quarts (liters) and gallons. Note: You can order some initial samples to test before committing to the full stocking order.
